NYIT Long Island Off Campus Housing
Nestled among more than a hundred wooded and landscaped acres, NYIT's Long Island Campus looks and feels like a private estate. In fact, the campus comprises several former North Shore estates.
Many of the former C.V. Whitney and estate buildings were reconstructed for educational use with special attention given to exterior charm. Classroom buildings and parking fields are connected by walkways through woods and meadows. Spacious plazas act as outdoor classrooms for students and faculty as well.
Students spend time between classes dining at one of the many cafes on campus, playing games at the Student Activity Center, listening to lectures on various issues, attending student organization meetings, or exercising in the Sports Complex.
